Terms of Service
Last updated: June 4, 2026
Welcome to My Silo. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use My Silo.
1. What My Silo is
My Silo lets experts ("Creators") build a personal AI "digital twin" trained only on the materials they upload, and lets their audience ("Fans") ask it questions. We provide the platform; Creators provide their content.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login secure (we offer two-factor authentication — we recommend turning it on). You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country. Don't share your account or use someone else's.
3. Creator content & ownership
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant My Silo only the limited permission needed to host your content and operate your silo (for example, generating answers for the fans you allow). We do not use your private content to train any model that serves other people.
4. Payments & subscriptions
Creators set their own subscription prices. Payments are processed by Stripe; by transacting you also agree to Stripe's terms. My Silo charges a platform fee on creator subscription revenue (currently 5%). Subscriptions renew until cancelled. A Creator may change or remove a price at any time; affected fans are notified in-app and may be moved between free and paid tiers accordingly.
5. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK)
Creators may connect their own AI provider keys. You're responsible for charges your keys incur with those providers. Keys are stored encrypted. If you don't connect a key, eligible usage may draw from your prepaid platform balance.
6. Acceptable use
Don't upload content you don't have the rights to, don't impersonate others, and don't use My Silo for anything illegal, harmful, or abusive. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules or the law.
7. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations or to comply with the law. See our account-termination policy for details.
8. Disclaimers & liability
AI answers can be wrong or incomplete — use judgment, especially for professional, legal, medical, or financial topics. My Silo is provided "as is" without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, our liability is limited.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll let you know. Continuing to use My Silo means you accept the updated terms.
